Granada Hills Charter, West High win regional academic decathlons
The winners of Thursday's L.A. regional academic decathlon contests are Granada Hills Charter High, last year's national winner, and West High in Torrance. Granada Hills Charter High School, last year's national Academic Decathlon champion, and West High School in Torrance, another perennial top team, were named the winners Thursday in Los Angeles' regional decathlon competitions.

THS revives academic competition team
